Filomena
de Andrade Booth
Filomena
de Andrade Booth was born in
Portugal but has
lived and worked in the United
States since she
was a young child. At an early age, she developed a fascination with
color, texture and design. As fortune would have it, she eventually
became a high school art teacher in the Wayne N.J. school system,
where she was able to inspire many young artists.
Between
1987 and 1992, Filomena became widely recognized throughout the
Tampa
Bay area as a
custom design artist for the interior design market. Her original
art may be found in many prestigious homes, offices, hotels and
corporations throughout the state of
Florida.
Filomena
is widely known for her original, contemporary abstract
expressionism paintings. Her award-winning art is bold in color,
design and isual impact. Be sure to check her website for her latest
works. Selected paintings are also available for sale on Ebay.

In 2003, she was awarded
both the Florida Watercolor Society's American Artist Magazine Award

“To create a powerful
and moving abstract image is a gratifying experience for any artist.
To have that image appreciated by the viewer is an even greater
joy.”
